Parents, your kids are going to love church!

There's no doubt that if you have got kids, then how much they enjoy church is going to affect your enjoyment of church. No parent wants to hear their kids saying every week that church is boring and they don't want to go, especially when there are so many other activities that could fill a sunday morning.

"You can rest assured that they will have a great time"

So check out our kids activities on Sunday mornings for yourselves.  You can sign your kids in from 10.15am on a Sunday morning and you can rest assured that they will have a great time.  If they have a problem settling and can't easily be settled, one of the team leaders will come and let you know.

During the morning's activities your child will be offered a drink and snack. So if they have any special dietary needs do let the team leader know that day.

The morning activities are led by our teams of enthusiastic, trained leaders (all volunteers who have completed CRB checks) and many of them are parents themselves.

We currently have four age groups:

'Fruit Shoots' welcomes children from newborn to 3 year olds.

'Acorns' welcome children aged 3 to end of reception year.
'The Hive' welcomes children aged 5-10 years (school years 1-6).
'Severn Up' welcomes children in school years 7-9.
Youth@Severn is the name of the group for teenagers in school years 10-13.

Depending on age, the Sunday activites can include craft, play, storytelling, acting, singing, outdoor games and a whole lot of crazy fun.  Each morning has a specific theme, usually based on a Bible story that the children can understand and appreciate.  There will often be an opportunity to pray if your child would like to.

Vineyard Kids is led and managed by Shelley Neal (07742 629389) who has three children of her own too!
