Sunday Service Venue
The Station, Silver Street, Bristol City Centre, BS1 2AG
Our Sunday Services are at 9.30am and 11.15am, in the fabulous Station in the heart of the city. With a state of the art auditorium, cafe, kids activity rooms and dance studio, we make full use of these excellent facilities.
FREE CAR PARKING
We have a special arrangment with the NCP car park just across the road from the Station, so you can park your car for free in a secure place. The car park is on Rupert Street, at BS1 2PY.
You will need to approach from the St James Barton Roundabout (the 'Bear Pit'), and drive along The Haymarket which becomes Rupert Street. You will drive past The Station on your left, and the car park will be on your right hand side immediately after the Bridewell Street police offices. Follow the Severn Vineyard car park signs and a steward will greet you at the entrance.
Please take a ticket as normal when you enter through the barrier, and keep this with you. Please then collect an exit voucher from the information desk at church, and when you are leaving the car park, please insert this voucher into the payment machine AFTER you have inserted your ticket. You will then not be charged for using the car park, and Severn Vineyard will pick up the tab at a discounted rate.
Please note - your exit voucher is only valid until 3pm on Sundays.
Mid Week Venue
The Power House, 88 Feeder Rd, St.Philips, Bristol, BS2 0TH
Being a new church, we lease 3000 square feet of space for our activities - on the journey to becoming a larger church with our own permanent premises - this is the place we call home!
It is home to our offices for staff and volunteers, it is home to our Brighter Bristol Storehouse, Brighter Bristol DIYSOS team and it is a base for mid-sized gatherings of the church (up to 100 people).
It's called the Power house because it was formerly used to control the electricity distribution throughout Southwest England and all of Wales!
The Power House is open Monday to Thursday 10am - 4pm, Fridays 10am-1pm as well as for specific events in evenings.
Finding the Power House:
Download directions for printing here, or read the description below:
The Power House is located at 88 Feeder Road, St.Philips, Bristol, BS2 0TH. It is on a business park - the gate has signs for Western Power Avon Bank Depot and a number of other companies on it. Go 100m down the drive and The Power House is the first building on the right with the white door, opposite Kenneth Steele House. Go through the white double door & our offices are up the stairs to your left.
Please note that some Satnav systems try to direct you to the postcode through the business park - however, this road is inaccessible. Instead you will need to come to the Power House directly from Feeder Road.If you are on Feeder Road with the canal on your left, you will come to 4 bridges overhead, all close to each other, including the flyover & 2 covered footbridges. After the first bridge, turn immediately right, into the gate of the business park.
Parking is just past the Power House on the right hand side. If there are no spaces, then in the evening you can park in the row of spaces directrly opposite The Power House (outside Kenneth Steele House).
Walking - from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station (approx 15 mins)
Turn right after leaving the side entrance at the Station (straight on from the ticket barriers). Go over the "cheese grater" bridge which is a signposted bike path (walking with your back to Philpotts / Starbucks). Follow the path to the right then left to get to Oxford Street & a row of shops on the right in the Railway Arches (inc a gym, pasty & bike shop). Turn right after the row of shops onto Gas Lane & go under the railway bridge. Follow Gas Lane past various industrial units & cross over the next junction with Kingsland Road / Silverthorne Lane which is now called Silverthorne Lane. As the road comes to a dead end, there is a signposted footpath / bike path to you right. Go down the footpath & over the bridge. You are now on Feeder Road. The entrance to the Power House business park is 50m to your left on the far side of Feeder Road.
