The Gold

As a church, one of our highest priorities is helping you to invest in and grow in your spiritual and emotional health.

One easy and brilliant way to do that would be take part in our course The Gold.

If you want to better understand who God is and how to relate to Him (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), and flourish in your relationship with all three, then this 8 week course is for you!


This course will dive into the gold of the Gospel in its fullest through a three step cycle, with each step helping you get to know each person of The Trinity in a more deeper and exciting way. The cycle looks like:

  • BELONG: pursuing our relationship with our Father, moving us from servants to sons;

  • BE: discovering and affirming our identity in Jesus as saints, no longer sinners;

  • DO: fulfilling our purpose through the power of the Spirit, as God's children in the family business, and in His army in the battle to extend His kingdom.

    It can sound very theological but it's incredibly practical, exploring topics including our tendency to perform to earn our Father's love, who the Father is and isn't, how we can partner with Holy Spirit to bring forth the Kingdom and what it means that Jesus lives within us.

There are several ways for you to get involved with this course:

  • Sign up for the next The Gold course being run at Severn Vineyard

  • Run the course within your Community Group

  • Choose to take part in the course in your own household/with your husband/wife, running it yourself

  • Go deeper with the course through a 1-2-1/mentoring type situation with an experienced Leader who can guide you through the materials and pray with/for you as you process it
