Worship at Severn

Every church gathering at Severn involves a time of worship.

For us, this means giving thanks to God and enjoying His presence, whilst our bands lead us in music and in singing songs that are written by popular songwriters or by our bands themselves. We sing to honour God who is worthy of our praise.

It doesn’t matter whether you are exploring faith or already count yourself a follower of Jesus, you will be able to join in as much or as little as you like, with lyrics projected onto our large screens.

We hold regular nights of worship and prayer, where we set aside time to praise God, draw near to him and pray for our community and beyond. We believe that worship changes us and the world around us. These are on the first Monday of the month, 8pm at The Harbour (formerly known as Totterdown Methodist Church, Bushy Park, BS4 2EG).

Our Worship Team is led by Joel and Juliet Glynn, our Worship Pastors.

If you’re passionate about worship and play a musical instrument, please email Joel and Juliet to find out more about getting involved in our worship team.

“There is an increasing expectation that we will meet with God in our musical and creative worship times at Severn, which is really exciting. We want to continue to seek God with expectation and in a way that is accessible, shows our passion for God, creates space for intimacy and is always done from a place of integrity.
